“Owning a house in Italy has been a joy and I feel fortunate to be part of Rancale”
"In December 2006 I went to Italy with some friends for a Christmas shopping trip but ended up buying much more than just presents! During the trip we went to see a cluster of farm buildings forming a hamlet in Umbria and I immediately fell in love with the old olive mill 'Il Mulino'.
As soon as we drove up the tree-lined driveway to Rancale I was hooked. Each property had an individuality and a personality of its own and the entire spot was magical. The previously derelict properties were being carefully crafted into beautiful homes whilst retaining the authenticity of their original character.
I love the fact that a little piece of history is being revived. Rancale in years gone by would have been a thriving and busy community and now the buildings are being restored to their former glory.
My love affair with Il Mulino has grown stronger since the first sighting and it has become part of my soul. I have enjoyed lovingly furnishing and decorating my new home. Buying and owning a house in Italy has been a joy and has added a new dynamic to my life and that of my family and I feel fortunate to be part of Rancale."
