The phenomenon which is Cirque du Soleil is visiting northern Italy. From the 15-18 September they are performing their Saltimbanco show in Mediolanum Forum in Milan. There is an evening show on Wednesday and Thursday, and 2 shows on both Friday and Saturday.
Milan centre is a 45 minute drive from Lake Como making it easily accessible for either a day or night out. The show also appears in Turin, Pesaro, Bologna and Florence.
